There are several prescription medications that have the side effect of reducing unwanted hair especially for those suffering from excessive body and facial hair and hirsutism. Most are oral medications although there is one topical cream that was discovered by accident whilst conducting research into reducing tumors (hair growth cells and cancer cells share several characteristics) and was subsequently developed specifically for hair reduction.
